GingerTim, For me, it’s all about the mood and a deep, hypnotic groove… playing those tracks that get you tapping your feet and nodding your head without you realizing it, regardless of genre, tempo, style, or release date..

After finishing at Labrynth and missing the connection of DJing to a live crowd, I began hosting my own parties in 1995. These started as small, local nights in restaurants and bars, filled with friends and friends of friends who shared the same love for house music. Around this time, several of my circle were playing at established London nights such as Release The Pressure and Just Can’t Get Enough at The Gardening Club, and I was fortunate to welcome CJ Mackintosh to one of my events through a mutual friend. In 1998, I took a major step forward and hired my first large‑scale club venue at Imperial Gardens. With no prior big‑venue track record and long before social media existed, everything was built from the ground up — convincing venue owners in person, sending out thousands of letters, and personally distributing tens of thousands of flyers across London clubs every weekend. Alongside co‑promoter Paul, the nights grew rapidly, leading to events at some of London’s most iconic venues, including Imperial Gardens, The Glasshouse, Aquarium, Ministry of Sound, The Cross, Turnmills, El Divino, and a long‑running monthly residency at Pacha London, where we became the venue’s longest‑running residents. The events also appeared nationwide as guest nights at respected UK parties such as Ultra Vegas, Eye Candy, Hotdog, and many more. I stepped away from running events years ago for personal reasons, but my love for house music has never faded. 37 years on, I’m still as passionate about the music as ever.

Mimick, I specialize in house music and its subgenres, alongside other EDM styles, aiming to create a safe space for all to enjoy and let go of stress. My mixes are crafted with the intention of providing entertainment and unity through music. Join me as we explore the music that bring us together.

House DJ and promoter of dance events. Started to fiddle around with a DJ controller during the COVID lockdown. Been exploring my own boundaries ever since.
